Our courses come in a variety of shapes and sizes. We have evening courses that last up to 10 weeks, weekend retreats and day courses. We also have some self taught courses where you can get a group together and run the course yourselves – these are a great way to socialise! We also have courses that you can download on MP3 and video to listen to whenever you like.

- The mind diet (MP3, 5.4MB, 4 mins) - these days, we’re not only eating things that are bad for our physical health, but we’re also watching and reading things that are making our minds flabby, rather than nurturing them. Put yourself on the 10-step mind diet and watch the mental flab fall off as you gain a new outlook on life!
- The problem with consumerism (MP3, 27.4MB, 30 mins) - everyone knows that we live in a culture of consumerism. But few people understand the full extent of the problems it causes or the effects that it has on each of us. This audiobook explores consumerism and its effects on us, and suggests some ways in which we can reduce its impact on our lives, so that we can live the lives we really want.
- How to appreciate life (MP3, 5.2 MB, 6 mins) - many of us tend to be so busy and absorbed in the pressure and rush of everyday living that we rarely (if ever) take time to step back from our lives and appreciate the remarkable fact that we are alive and what this really means. This audiobook shows that learning to appreciate life like this, and reminding yourself about it regularly, can be one of the great pleasures of life, and can bring us a real sense of meaning.
- A bit of peace and quiet (MP3, 3.4MB, 4 mins) - an MP3 version of our guide that gives 10 ideas on how to find more peace and quiet within the rush of modern life. We live in a fast-paced, pressurised world and our lives can be rushed and busy. In this sort of environment, we can make our lives much more enjoyable if we can find some periods of peace and quiet when we need them.
- A quick MOT for your values (MP3, 6.1MB, 5 mins) - our values influence how we behave and think in many areas of our lives – from how we treat other people to whether we choose to live in a sustainable way. The aim of this audio course is to show you how to take yourself on a quick retreat away from the madness of daily life in order to review how well you’re managing to live in line with your values and what you can do to live more in line with them. You can either play this audio course before you go or download it and take it with you. You can then pause the recording when you’re ready to take action on each section.
- How to connect (MP3, 3.8MB, 4 mins) - the quality of our relationships with other people is one of the most important factors contributing to our well-being – if not the most important. Even the simplest and smallest moments of connection – like saying hello to our neighbours - can make us feel better about ourselves, give us a sense of purpose and give us more opportunities for getting on in life. This guide provides a list of things you can do to build more links with other people.
- How to make the world better (MP3, 4.2MB, 4 mins) - we all want to live in a fairer, happier and more sustainable world but it can sometimes feel that we can’t make a difference on our own. But there are many important things we can each do, and this guide gives 10 simple ideas on how you can make the world better – starting now.
- Well-being podcasts - a series of free MP3s from the Mental Health Foundation that can help you to relax and improve your sense of well-being. They include topics such as 'How to overcome fear and anxiety' and 'Stress and relaxation'.
