Life Squared is a not-for-profit organisation helping people to live happier, wiser and more meaningful lives within the pressures and complexity of the modern world. We're looking for new volunteers to join our brilliant team.
If you volunteer with us you'll have the chance to share ideas with interesting people, learn new things and of course have fun being part of a team of lovely people contributing to our important work that's really making a difference in people's lives.
We're flexible about how you work, as we can fit your working hours around your life and you can either be based here in our office in Lewes (near Brighton) or work from home - or a bit of both.
Project coordinator
This volunteer would help our Director to run the organisation so their tasks could be wide-ranging, including administration, sending newsletters, managing projects, publicity and PR work plus fundraising work.
Curators/editorial team
We need 3 people to look after each of the 3 key topic areas of the Life Squared website - Know your world, Grow yourself and Live well. Each curator would be responsible for researching and keeping up to date with developments in their area, and recommending new items to put on their section of the Life Squared website to keep it fresh, useful and interesting.
Website coordinator
A very important role! This person would be trained in how to use the Life Squared website and would be responsible for adding content to it (from the Director and curators) and keeping it up to date.
Fundraising coordinator
We need someone with fundraising experience to help us raise money from a variety of sources, including high value donors, trusts and individuals.
PR coordinator
This person would implement our plans to increase people's awareness of Life Squared. The role would include dealing with the press, seeking media opportunities and helping us build our subscriber base.
Board member
We need another experienced and enthusiastic person to join our 4 existing board members helping to drive the organisation forward. We need someone with senior experience of PR and communications OR well-being and progressive politics.
