New podcast - 'Making things better'

Exciting news!  Our founder and director Richard Docwra has just launched a new podcast series called 'Making the world better'.

In the podcast, Richard talks to people who are making the world better – not just those tackling big issues at a global scale but also those working at a local level or in less obvious areas too. He aims to find out more about what these people do, the issues they’re working on and why they matter. In the end, we want to pay tribute to everyone who’s trying to make things better.

Each fortnightly episode has a different guest – and we’ve got some brilliant people lined up in the first few shows including CEOs of leading charities, political advisors, academics, fundraisers – and people who are working to help others in their local communities. Whether you’re trying to seek change yourself or just curious about the world, this podcast is for you!

The first two episodes are now available to stream and download here, and are also available on Spotify (click here) and Apple Podcasts (click here) and other good podcast providers! There’ll be a new episode every 2 weeks – next one at 8am on Monday Feb 3rd 2020!

In episode 1, Richard speaks to John Russell , founder of The Oyster Project, about how his charity is helping disabled people at a local level.

In episode 2, Richard speaks to Andrew Copson, Chief Executive of Humanists UK, about his search for a kinder, more tolerant and rational world.

The podcast is available from all the usual providers, including Spotify (click here), Apple Podcasts (click here) and Google Podcast (coming soon), as well as hosted here on https://richarddocwra.com/making-the-world-better/.

Please check out the podcast, share it with as many people as you can, and of course subscribe to if you like it!
